Be Calm: Be Happy is introductory course 1.
It introduces the key ideas and exercises to make our lives happier. We learn how to calm the chatter, worry, and anxiety of the mind by focusing on something happening right now.
This 6 week course introduces useful mindfulness and meditation practices to help you live a fuller and happier life. Mindfulness and meditation are about being mentally focused on the present moment, not absorbed in regrets, plans, worries or other thoughts. When we practice mindfulness we are more aware of the things that help us to be calm and happy and also of the thought patterns that take us in the opposite direction. With this awareness, we can take positive choices in everyday life.
